Terms and Conditions
Please read the following agreement. “Client” use of any King’s Laundromat services indicates an agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth below.
This agreement is between King’s Laundromat and the Client and does not in any way constitute or imply any relationship with any other parties. As a condition to using any of King’s Laundromat’s services the Client agrees to the following terms and conditions:
Pick-up and Delivery Wash & Fold Services:
King’s Laundromat reserves the right to determine the pick-up and drop-off times at its own discretion and reserves the right to reschedule such times upon prior notice to the Client
Client agrees to include only washable items in the laundry bag. Dry-Cleaning items should be excluded
Not Present Charge:
If a client requests a pick-up or schedules a delivery and the laundry bag is not there in the allotted time for any reason. There will be a $25 Not present charge.
Minimum Order Sizes:
Wash & Fold order minimum is 12 lbs. or $20.00
Order Claims:
An order claim is created when a customer submits their order through the King’s Laundromat’s website.
Damaged Property:
To be considered for reimbursement or refund, any damaged items must be reported to King’s Laundromat within seven business days of your order being delivered. If a damaged item is reported after seven business days, King’s Laundromat will not be liable for the damaged item.
King’s Laundromat follows the standards and policies set forth by the Fabricare Industry and the International Fabricare Institute. We exercise the utmost care in cleaning and processing garments entrusted to us and uses such processes which, in our opinion, are best suited to the nature and conditions of each garment. Nevertheless, we cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses or defects in materials which may result in tears or development of small holes in the fabric that are not readily apparent before processing.
We cannot guarantee against color loss, color bleeding, and shrinkage; or against damage to weak and tender fabrics; or against damage to ancillary items such as belts, buttons, beads, ties or zipper pulls. To be considered for reimbursement or a refund, any damaged items must be reported and returned to King’s Laundromat for inspection within seven business days of delivery. If a damaged item is reported after seven business days, King’s Laundromat Cleaners will not be liable for the damaged item.
King’s Laundromat’s liability with respect to any damaged items may be reimbursed as follows:
Wash and Fold: the value of the item up to $50, but no more than $200 per order will be reimbursed.
If proof of purchase or comparable link to an item cannot be provided upon request, the customer will only be considered for a King’s Laundromat credit, up to $125. Reimbursements may be provided in credits, refunds, or cash payouts (check) and will be determined by King’s Laundromat.
Lost Items:
To be considered for reimbursement or refund, any lost items must be reported to King’s Laundromat within seven business days of your order being delivered. If a lost item is reported after seven business days, King’s laundromat will take the necessary steps to locate your item but will not be liable for the lost item.
King’s Laundromat makes its best reasonable effort to track every item that is processed and will review all lost item claims on a case by case basis. Any items determined to have been lost by King’s Laundromat will be reimbursed in accordance with the International Fabricare Fair Claims Guide and shall not exceed ten times the cost of cleaning the item, whichever is less will be reimbursed.
Loose Items:
King’s laundromat will attempt to account for loose items; however, they are not responsible for loose items left in orders such as:
- Belts
- Jewelry
- Collar Stays
- Watches
- Cash
- Credit cards
- Detachable buttons
- Cufflinks
- Broaches
- Stings
- Laces
- Hoods
- Any loose items on garments, etc.
Customers must remove any loose items and empty pockets prior to leaving items with King’s Laundromat. King’s Laundromat will not be held responsible if these items are not returned.
Turnaround Time:
Service days and turnaround time vary by location. King’s laundromat will make best reasonable effort to return clothes within 48 hours of pick up or drop off, however, we do not guarantee turnaround times. If a customer requests next day service, King’s laundromat cannot guarantee an exact delivery time. In the event an order is delayed due to unforeseen circumstances (i.e. snow, road closures, building access issues), King’s Laundromat will not be responsible for compensation due to the delay.
Bed Bugs and Biohazards:
King’s Laundromat holds the right to return any order that contains bedbugs or a biohazard for the safety of our employees. Any order that is infested with bedbugs, contains feces, blood, bodily fluids, or anything else that is harmful to our employees will be sent back unprocessed and the customer will be charged a $50 biohazard fee.
Payment by credit card:
Client may pay for the services render by King’s Laundromat by using Credit Cards such as Visa, Mastercard, etc.

The client agrees to be charged on the card that the client provided for the Services that have been rendered to the client by King’s Laundromat and at the time when the invoice for such services has been issued.
King’s Laundromat’s liability under this agreement shall be limited to general money damages in an amount not to exceed the charges for the service paid by the Client in the term under which the damages are alleged to have occurred. King’s Laundromat will not be liable or be responsible for any incidental, indirect, or punitive loss or damages whether or not King’s Laundromat knew or should have known of the likelihood of any loss or damages.
This agreement and any documents referred to herein constitute the complete, exclusive, and entire agree between King’s Laundromat and the client and may not be modified except in writing signed by both parties, and shall be governed by the laws of the state of Maryland where it operates.
